HOW IT WORKS
It is all business as usual for the 100km race. Once you reach 3 of our bigger climbs you will pass through the timing gate, riding to the top of the climb. Your 3 hill climb times will be combined to give you and overall placing. It is not about being the first rider but the fastest to the top.

Hill Road (inter Windy) to the top of Frontal laboratory to the top of billy T
Stage Two
Sandy Skid Road, Pondy Elevator, Moerangi Road, Timewarp
Stage Three
Direct Road to the top of Hot X Buns
AGE CATEGORIES
The age groups for the King of the Mountains Challenge differ to the main Whaka100 ages, they are as follows:
PRIZE MONEY
There is a total of $500 in prize money awarded to the top male (KOM) and female (QOM) overall.

A: No, it is part of your entry fee
