Taking on the Whaka100 is considered one of New Zealand’s toughest single day mountain bike event providing a true test of endurance. Those who have taken on the Whaka love the unique balance of amazing single track accompanied by the brutal 3800 metres of vertical climbing throughout the course. Push yourself beyond your limits, and chase dreams at becoming the whaka100 champion.

PRIZE MONEY
Prize money is awarded to the over all top 3 male and females. The athlete must be present to claim the prize money.
1ST $1000 2ND $300 3RD $150
PODIUM MEDALS
Podium medals are award to the top 3 male and female riders of each age group, you must be present to claim the medal.
FINISHER MEDALS
Finisher medals will only be awarded to riders who complete the event.

SEEDING
There are 10 seeding potions for men and 10 for women. To gain the seeding positions you must complete the Whaka TT. Learn more about the Whaka TT here
100KM CHECK POINTS
The course check points listed below are in the interest of participant safety. The times are based on a participant averaging 10kmph or less. It is unlikely that this will affect your race however If you fall behind the timing checkpoints you will be diverted to the lesser distance or withdrawn from the event as listed below.
